So I spent about 1 month playing chords everyday. I learned the basic chords first. G-D-C-E-Em-A-Am-F. I recommend you learn these chords first because they are the root to most songs and if you get fast at changing through these chords you will be able to improve faster. I found that when I was changing chords I had the most trouble changing into a C chord. The structure of a C chord is one that takes a lot of time to find the right finger to the right string. Once you practice your chords your fingers will eventually just automatically form the chord structure. I know it may be hard to realize that or believe it but with enough practice it will happen
